What is worker leasing?
Worker leasing (agency employment) means the worker is employed by a temporary employment agency and works at your company, which acts as the user employer. In Serbia this model is governed by the Law on Agency Employment, applied since 1 March 2020.
Legal Workforce doo operates under a licence from the competent ministry. We sign the employment contract, calculate and pay salaries and handle all administration, while you organise the day-to-day work.
What the law requires
- An assigned worker has the same basic working conditions as comparable employees of the user employer.
- The agency charges its fee to the user employer, never to the worker.
- Assignment is not allowed at an employer where a strike is underway or where redundancies have been established for the same jobs.
